WinGuard can protect Program Manager groups or items from being rearranged or damaged (accidentally or intentionally), with the automatic setting of any one of seven different protection levels. WinGuard can also hide "sensitive" programs (such as Windows Setup, Control Panel, or File Manager), as well as selected entire Program Manager groups and individual Control Panel icons, away from guest users. WinGuard 's protections would probably be the most useful to someone in charge of a number of computers at a school or business, a network manager, or a parent. WinGuard access is password-protected.
